Somehow or other I've ended up with that stupid Second Thought installer. I didn't install the program itself, but the Browser Enhancer box keeps popping up. I have run Spybot and Adaware. Any help I can get on this would be greatly appreciated!

Here's my HijackThis log:

Your log looks okay now. Are you still having any problems?

Yes, I'm afraid so. As I mentioned in one of the previous messages, one way I can make it come up for sure is to start Windows Media Player (but sometimes it'll also appear when I'm doing other things online). I've worked around it a bit by assigning Windows Media Files to a different program, but I still hate having that stupid thing hovering around on my computer.

Do you think it would help if I uninstall Windows Media Player, then download it again from Microsoft's site?

I'm open to any suggestions you might have.

Thanks!
Tony

Give reinstalling WMP a shot.

After I reinstalled Windows Media Player, everything seems to be OK now. I've been using it the last couple of days, and the popup hasn't reared its ugly head anymore. Thank you again for all your help.
