ExtremeTech (http://www.extremetech.com) takes a look at Creative's Audigy 4 Pro.

The Audigy 4 Pro has the identical feature set to its slightly older sibling, the Audigy 2 ZS, and you can get the full run-down of those features here in our Audigy 2 ZS review. The main notable difference is the rated dynamic range of the D/A converters (DACs) at 192 KHz/24-bit stereo. The Audigy 2 ZS is rated at 107dB, whereas the Audigy 4 Pro is rated at 113dB. Unlike any of the Audigy 2 offerings, Creative is planning one, and only one, Audigy 4 product.
Apparently it comes with more snap, crackle and pop than ever before. At this point though that statement is just conjecture.

Might as well call it the Audigy 2 v2.Or the Audigy 3. What happened to 3? Can they not count?

Isn't the number 3 associated with a poor context in Asian countries?

Apparently it's similar in Cantonese Chinese and Japanese - I know in Mandarin Chinese the word for four is "sė" and the word for death is "sĭ". Since they're so similar (same consonant and vowel, different tone), many are superstitious about the number four.

Just like we're superstitious about 13 :D

Audigy 4 - "If we didn't **** up your computer good enough with 2, just wait until you see 4!"

yeah, four in chinese and cantonese sounds like death, just different accent, one is down up accent and one is straight down, if that makes any sense to u guys.
no big deal tho.... then again, im taiwanese, and i use zhu ying instead of ping ying, so my accent marks are checks and dashes, dunno how ping ying does it...

Doesn't make sense to me. ;D Prime might get it though, and I'm sure Lei does.
