HP keyboard work with Winamp!?

I just noticed that when I got the LX700 I coudl control my winamp playlist with the next track, play, pause, stop etc. but this HP stock keyboard doesnt work. It works for Windows media player.

any ideas on how to make it work??

if you've got winamp5, in the preferences, there should be a "global hotkeys" option. enable it, and set the keys you want.
