What is the best route to drive to toronto??

My family is coming to pick me up tonight, then we will be going to toronto right away.

I'm in Ann Arbor, MI for those of you that didn't know, just want to know how to best get there with driving, and what to see while there, and such.

Just some general tips.

Tip away guys.

try... www.mapquest.com or www.mappoint.com or www.randmcnalley.com for directions, they are all free.

Definately check out the CN Tower, it was very cool.
The Paramount Amusement Park was fun also...

Ok, when I was there I definitely enjoyed seeing the Phantom of the Opera at the Pantages (Now the Canon Theatre). Phantom apparently hasn't played in a while, but if you're at all interested in broadway-style shows, the Canon is well-regarded to have nice shows.

The CN Tower is also very cool, as Zanthian mentioned. It gives an amazing view! It was neat, as we were in a low-lying fog when I was at the tower, so it was kind of like gazing right into a cloud.

Another great place to go to shop and eat is the Eaton Centre, which is a supermassive, multi-storied shopping mall close to the Canon Theatre. Good food, good places to shop, and they take American cash so the exchange rate is pretty good (Though it was 1.00 USD -> 1.60 CAD when I was there.. It's less now).

The Paramount Amusement wasn't built yet, but I'm pretty sure that's a neat place to go. Amusement parks are always fun.

And lastly, I ate at three places while I was there: Hardrock Cafe overlooking the Jays' stadium -- they had real cane sugar! Hamburgers were pretty good, though not the best. Neat environment, and definitely a cool view. I liked it.

The Keg Steakhouse and Bar had a great, laid-back atmosphere and some excellent NY strip steak. Everyone else I was with was similarly delighted with their selection. Fantastic food; I loved eating here.

And lastly, the Old Spaghetti Factory. I've been to one in Chicago, one in Indianapolis, and the one in Toronto. The one in Toronto is by far the best I can recall. Huge portions of some of the best pasta I've ever had, and a sincerely ecclectic variety of drinks made this a place I didn't forget.

That's all I can remember. I was 11 the last time I went there, but it made a profound impression on me as a very clean and bustling city. I imagine that it's what Detroit would be like today if it wasn't suffering so badly in many places. I was amused by the street hotdog vendors at the time. Granted, things may have changed in the seven years since.. But I'd sure like to go back and see if they have. If I ever left the U.S. for some odd reason, I'd sure like to live in Toronto Ontario.

I think I took the Bluewater Bridge which connects I94 and I69 to Ontario's Highway 402. But like Pseudo, I can't remember.

Dude, thrax, how could Paramount Canada's Wonderland not be built when you were there? I went there when I was sixteen, and that was 11 years ago. :wtf:

Lei, there is only one city in all of canada, and one major road. Just follow the road, and you'll get to the city. ;D

Hey, I said I was 11! If I can't even remember what bridge I took, I'm sure as hell not going to remember an amusement park I didn't go to. ;D

Toronto is great! Glad to have you coming.
Take the I94->I69->Border->402->401->Toronto. Watch out for speed traps on the 402. ;)
Wonderland is probably closed for the season now. There are tonnes of things to see and do.
