Having cut a chunk out of my bottom lip this morning :werr: with my trusty 3 blade wet razor,I am considering gonig down the electric razor route for the daily chore of de-foliating my face.

Mrs. Crypto would like to buy me an electric razor for christmas....to save the bloody towels, any suggestions?

There is an overwhelming choice ranging in price from £30 up to £200

I don't need one for my legs or underarms :D

Cheers

Wish I could help but never had any luck with electric - plus I have had a GoTee for 15yrs and they are not very good at doing the edges neatly. Stick with the Wet Shave

my friends like the braun self-cleaning shaver (syncro or some other similar name). I prefer the blade though.

I use the self-cleaning Braun Synchro (as do a lot of other people I know).

I like it.

I have a Remington Triple Foil Micro-Screen and a Remingtom Triple Head Rotary and I prefer the Triple Foil (It's a linear type razor) as it cuts closer and with less irritation than the rotary.
Braun's are nice but a tad expensive IMHO but for a simple corded $30 dollar razor that does a great job you can't go wrong with the Remington.

I have a Norelco Reflex Plus, greater razor, smooth shave, and it was one of the cheaper ones (but still like $65!) price/perfomance I give it an A+! :)

I hear John Deer makes a decent model for under 200... ;D

Seriously though, I would think that the razor would depend on your facial hair. Mine is rather thick and an electric does good on the cheek but not so great around the neck. It would seem that the micro screens would be your best bet but, I use the cheapest rotary I could find. I only use it like once a week though so it is more like brush clearing than actual shaving...
