here is my cpu info, and its in an abit nf7-s 2.0

its a barton 2800+ at 2000 mhz (in BIOS; CPU-Z seems to be showing a slight fluctuation)

so, i am going to buy 2 X 512mb of either kingston hyperx, or corsair xms. i can get either pc2700 or pc3200 of the khx, but corsair i can only get pc3200.

which will give me the best performance for gaming?

thanks

Dunno, really, all your choices are good.

If it were me, I'd go for the Corsair PC3200, but that's just based on past experiences.

Have read lots of good things about Kingston.

If you're not going to overclock, go for the cheapest, which is probably the khx PC2700. If you're into overclocking go for the Corsair.

Just my opinion :) Good luck.

Corsair 3200. Hands down.
