Whats the difference between these types of ram:? not necessarily for bench marking, but overall

KINGSTON KVR 400MHZ DDR NO-ECC 512MB C25 12055
KINGSTON KVR 400MHZ DDR NO-ECC 512MB C3A 16563
KINGSTON KVR 400MHZ DDR ECC 512MB CL3A 16420
and then if it wre all DDR2

The non-ECC c2.5 memory is the fastest and is most likely to work with most systems. Unless you specifically required ECC memory (Dual CPU computers, socket 940 computers), you should get the c2.5 Kingston. The "C3A" or cas 3 memory is slower.

And then if it were all DDR2, they'd be a waste of money.

Also most dual cpu servers (not all but most) that require ecc really require REGISTERED ecc and those specs dont mention of thats registered or not.
