Bothered: what did I do? Well, let's see (I'm going to go into detail here because I just know you're on the edge of your seat waiting to hear what I did... ;D)
Tuesday night: Watched TV on the dual xeon system, IMed some people. Went to the hardware store, bought 2 wooden dowels (windows @ the dorm won't lock *rolls eyes*, a small pruning saw, orchid potting mix, an assload of heatshrink tubing (had to replenish my stockpile) and a lightbulb. Put up one of those wire modular shelving unit things, cut the dowels to length to stick in the window frames. Potted a couple of orchids, watered all of my plants, and went to bed at 3am on Wednesday morning
Wednesday: Slept until 1:30pm. Debated with myself for the next 15 minutes about whether I really wanted to get up or not. Ended up getting up. Turned on xeon system, checked e-mail. IMed a few people, packed up, and drove home. Figured it'd take forever to drive home, but traffic was actually a bit lighter than normal. Made the trip in about an hour and a half, managed to hit 100mph+ a couple times... Got home, found my grandmother there with my mother. Suggested that we start making thanksgiving dinner a day early so as to not have so much work on Thursday morning. They chose not to listen to me. Went to Fry's, bought 2 copies of NFSUG2 (1 for me, 1 as a birthday gift for my brother) an xbox controller extension cable, a usb cable (for a project I'm working on- trying to get my Xbox controller working on a USB port), and a Logitech MX510 to replace the one I borked last month. Got home, partially cleaned up my room, installed a hard drive in the Celeron system (the one with the Gateway prototype board) and started installing Win2k on it. IMed some people, checked a couple threads here for updates, went to bed at like 2 on Thursday morning.
Thursday: Slept until 12:30, got up, went downstairs, ate a couple cinnamon rolls. Parents told me to help them cook, so I did. Ate dinner around 4:00. Went upstairs, finished installing win2k on the Celeron system (I shut it off in mid-install the night before), played NFSUG2 for a few hours. IMed some people, checked a couple threads here, went to bed at like 1:30 on Friday morning.
Friday: Got up at 6:00, checked the Mercury News' website to see if the Friday Fry's ad had been put online yet. It had not. Went back to sleep until 8:30. Found Fry's ad on the floor just inside of my bedroom door. Read the Fry's ad, saw that they had a <a href="http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-116-299&depa=1">ViewSonic VP201s 20" flat panel</a> for $799. Checked specs of said flat panel on Newegg, decided I needed at least 1, preferably 2. Tried to talk parents into getting me an early christmas present. No luck. Called grandparents. Had better luck with them. Picked up 1600x1200/16ms response time early x-mas present later on, along with a copy of Nero (on sale for $14). Also talked my dad into buying a MX510 for himself. IMed some people later that night, watched TV, don't remember when exactly I went to bed.
Saturday: Got up around noon, went downstairs, ate a protien bar for breakfast. Checked my e-mail, IMed people, and unpacked the monitor around 1:00. Plugged it in to the laptop to check that it was working properly (no dead pixels, yay! :D). Packed it back up, washed the car, and drove back to UoP around 4:00. Drag raced some idiot in an Infiniti J30 (poor slob never knew what hit him), managed to hit 115mph once... :D Got back to UoP to discover that SOMEHOW, THE DUAL XEON SYSTEM BORKED ITSELF WHILE I WAS GONE (the sound no longer worked)   :werr:. At this point, I IMed thrax so he could laugh at me, and tried to fix it. Determined I needed to do a repair install. Discovered that I'd left one of my WinXP CDs (the one I was going to use) and my Win2k CD at home. Ended up using another XP CD, only to discover that the repair install didn't work. Gave up and went back to using the dual athlon system. IMed Thrax again so he could laugh more. Watched TV, checked a couple threads here, IMed various people, went to bed around 3 in the morning.
Today: Woke up around 1:30 in the afternoon, got out of bed, turned on the Xeons out of habit. Realized that that computer wasn't working, turned it off, turned on the Athlon system. Checked my e-mail, watched some TV, got around to doing a clean format and reinstall on the xeon system, IMed people. Got an IM from Kwitko sometime around 6 (I think) asking if I was still banned. Told him I had no idea. He said "apparently not" and that was the end of that.
That's what I did.

Let the record also show that age does not extinguish immaturity, rather the wisdom to mask it. ;D

Thrax: It was sooo not funny. :p
DragonV8: No, not this time... :p
Bothered: Well, since you asked... It was a 50/100/150w 3-way GE <a href="http://www.gelighting.com/na/home_lighting/products/reveal_main.htm">Reveal</a> bulb. :p
Lin: Tnx.
TheGr81: It SHOULD be simple, yes, but it's uh, not cooperating. I'll post a new thread detailing what's going on when I get a chance.
Oh, I also came across <a href="http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?p=215495&posted=1#post215495 ">this</a> while I was gone. I found it highly amusing. :D

$799 is pretty close to the price that the dell 2001fp still goes for, which I believe is exactly the same panel. and dell doesn't have to give rebates (but sometimes they do, and oh how sweet that day becomes...)
much obliged for the blow instructions last night! you know what i'm talking about. :)

I heard of euphuisms before but Geeky1 don't you think "itsy bitsy fan" is a little to weird sounding... But hey if it fits, who am I to question your manhood!
BTW I pledged $20 to shut him down... I'm going to assume I can just PayPal this to one of the "trifecta"... <strike>Point me to the details and I'll get it done...</strike> - Done...

Always the late one in the conversation..... ;D
But this is always a great place to come back to.... I do miss out on alot of good stuff; although, I'm happy I didn't miss this one.
Do you think we should ask Prime to check to see if any of the new members that joined during Geeky's ban had his IP address? If caught maybe we could get him banned for a month! ;D ;D
Logging into Short-Media: $5.00 dollars
Visiting the SM Pub: $100.00 dollars
Donating to the cause: $20.00 dollars
Seeing that Geeky's been banned: Priceless
