Yes, only two choices.
Tell me if you own one.
Tell me what is wrong with it.
This is for casual photos, family and friends.
My wife shoots a lot and the film expense is getting to me.

They're both really good.

If it were me, I'd just go on which one looks the prettiest to you.

Only two makes I favour, tbh, Canon and Nikon.

edit: I owned a Canon Powershot A40 for two years and now have a Powershot A80.
