email forum

I am getting very mad tring to figure out how to do email forums. does anyone know how? Plus i can not use php because my host does not suppley it or what ever u call it.

you can't do this stuff without PHP. I hate to say it so bluntly, but you need a better host :(

The ONLY other thing to do is an email list, and that can be done with Perl. So could a Wiki, though that is not a forum in the sense that we have here. Again, that can be done with Perl.

BUT, for any of these you will need a host that allows you to load CGI plus Perl, and most of those also allow PHP. So, to do a real forum, you need a host that allows executables in your area. GoDaddy and many major hosting companies offer hosting like that, so does Sarcnet as of the last I heard (when I got my most recent hosting bill from them).
