I'm getting the "Cover previously removed, press F1 to continue..." on each startup/restart of my WIn 2K server. Thing is, the cover was removed months ago (before I was ever IN this job), and I want the error to go away. Thanks!

Go into the bios of the server's mobo and reset the warning...without details on the board used it's hard to give details as to how this is done (hitting F2, del, ETC) but that's where, with a little digging, you'll find the warning and the option to enable, disable and reset it.

I hope this helps you out and good luck.

It's usually called "Chassis Intrusion Detection" or something similar.

Hmmm. Enabled, disabled - whichever way I go, I get the press F1 to continue, F2 to enter setuup option. I wonder if this mobo is just set up to do that each time it boots no matter what. It did get rid of the "warning" though, thanks!

Sounds like something else is erroring then. Does it say anything before telling you to press F1 or F2?
