I am extreamly disapointed. I just couldn't get into it. W0W had great graphics but the system and gameplay lacked for my taste. Anyone else feel the same?

you are not alone. Ive heard this from many people... I myself never got the game. I just refuse to pay monthly to play a game.

I've not played it, as I really don't want to get absorbed into a game...some of my friends play it every waking hour tho :)

I was also disappointed a bit but then I wasn't expecting a whole hell of a lot either. Like gnome said, great graphics but the gameplay just wasn't fun for me :-/

I thought the beta was pretty fun. I'd never, in my entire life, pay for a game on a monthly basis, though. :-/

I thought it was fun, and had a good time in the beta leveling with my friends.

I'd prolly be more willing to get it if I diddn't have to pay $50 for the box, plus another $15 every month to keep playing. Getting the CDs for free (or though a steam-like interface), and then playing $15 from the start, and every month thereafter would be much more appealing, IMO.

Anarchy Online is now free. its a everquest/WoW type game that won game of the year. iv heard its fun but never played it. the 800MB download thru a P2P network is whats killing it for me since im on dialup (its legal BTW, the site tells you to get it thru a certain p2p)

Well I did not continue with the game beyound my month trial
I made my thoughts clear in other posts

the gameplay was very poor IMOHO

I had much more fun with Asherons Call and AShercopns Call Dark Majesty

the magic system in WoW was an extreme dissapointment to me

I didn't like the beta enough to buy the game. Incidentally though my brother went to bestbuy today and they were sold out of them (he was looking for a copy... to buy with gift cards)

I just don't seem to fit in the MMORPG scene. Bores me to flippin tears.

We went to four different stores before finding it at a Wal-Mart... the last place I expected to find it.

We (me, my brother and a friend) have only been playing for about a week, and we all love it. I was a bit skeptical at first, looked like I would be bored out of my skull... but something just makes me want to keep playing it. I must see if I can find some of you on this game... Anyone else on the Medivh server? :)
