I'm trying to sell a Sony Ericsson V800 on ebay and despite me saying that it's UK only & I wont ship abroad I keep getting Nigerian fraudsters using the buy it now option and then sending an email asking me to ship abroad for less than the agreed price & wanting use Western Union for payment.
Each time I relist it (3 times now) it costs me money & I doubt ebay will refund it despite me reporting it.
I work in fraud & security and I see this activity all the time & it's alway's from Nigerians or Kenyan's. It's a way of life to these people. @rseholes

Does anybody know how PayPal operates with regards to stolen credit cards being used to pay for goods through their system.
The reason I ask is that the bidder wanted to use PayPal to pay for the item and would obviously have to use a stolen credit card. If i had accepted and maybe got to the stage when payment to my paypal account could paypal take the money back once they discovered funds had been paid for using stolen credit card. Or do they or the credit card company take the hit & not pursue it any further?

What exactly is stopping you? Put it in a zip lock, postal nerds will never know. I don't think its on the list of materials that are illegal to ship. Its just gross.

Hate Nigerian fraudsters and basically ALLfraudsters. As perhaps one of the only Nigerians here .... I got to Holla.
Have no gripe with people moaning about it ( it's a reality). Government generally turns a blind eye at it ... or haven't the tech to pursue it further.
Think it's a shame when a certain group of people think it's the only way to hit back at 'Western establishment' who all the corrupt leaders in Africa seem to bank their 'ill-gotten' wealth with.
Had my rant for the day .....
Just dont nuke them ....... maybe a difference can be made in some other ways

Would put a few people off but if they could get hold of your bank details, they would probably be happier. Careful how you tread with bank transfers!!

Probably the only way to get them being it's a random thing. They will randomly get the dogs poo or a cash pay out as seems to happen every so often.
SE10 safe ..... dont be teling the missus that. she showing me a house that will break the bank that she likes...... maybe i should just get on to all bank managers .... anything going out of my account worth more than £200 thats not to a tech affiliated store is not authorized by me regardless of if they give all passwords and what nots
