Ooh, nifty.
Real name: Trystan Johnson (YES IT'S A GUY'S NAME, TOO! ;D)
I think it means "sad" in Latin err some such.
Nicknames:
T-T (my little bro couldn't say the name when he was little, so he used TT)
Tryst (my mom)
TJ
Dolby (from that oooold show - my friend's nick is Maynard)
Trish/Trishy/Trish Wang
That last one needs some explaining. When I was hanging out in a different group a bit, Mike (who was also part of that group) explained that my name was Trystan. Another of my friend's sister goes, "WTF? What kinda name is that?" Mike (Mc.Dubs here (a nickname I gave him, sorta lol)) goes, "Well you can just call him Trish for short (yet a different friend had dubbed that one). Actually, just call him Trish Wang"
Johnson ... Wang ... see the resemblence? ;D Yeeeaahhhh....
It stuck, and now a lot of my friends actually call me Trish consistantly. Doesn't bother me anymore. I used to get offended, seeing as how I'm a guy, lol, but it's just a name. Some freshman actually thought my real name was Trish  ;D

lol i havnt played DC in forever i know i would suck if i tried to play it now btw tr0ll is married now and TP is doing good if you dont keep up with them.
My real name is Philip, which means all kinds of whatever. Possibly "lover of horses" (really I'm indifferent). My only nickname that's used with frequency is Phil, and people call me that a lot more than the full one these days. Here's some trivia: I didn't start (or even like) being called Phil until I used it in my AIM screenname... hehe, that sounds pretty lame.
EMT is hardly a nickname; I pulled an obscure name out of the Wheel of Time series for my first forum (which was WoT related), copied to Icrontic, and abbreviated for S-M. I don't like it or dislike it, although it's a little weird if people associate me with Emergency Medical Technician.
P.S. Kwitko, from the time you changed to that name till I saw your post in this thread, I've always read your name as Kwikto... weeird.

Christopher-Bernard Droege
My mother named me for St. Christopher, who bore Christ across the river on his shoulders. The name means, literally, the bearer (opher) of Christ. She didn't relize that 50% of males my age were ending up with the same name. She told me later that she picked the name because she loved it, but that if she'd known it would be so popular, she would have picked something else for me.
My fathers name is Bernard (pron. burn-erd). I got the anglo version of his name as my middle name, just as my son's middle name will be Christopher.
Droege is the Americanised version of a German name that either means 'drug master' or 'dry man', depending on the region of Germany. My line hasn't been trtaced back very far, so we're not exactly sure. I'm the first one in my line who was born with the Americanised name.
There was always a 'too many Christophers' problem when I was in school. That's where CB came from, and it stuck pretty fast (especially since I don't really like to be called Chris, so even my close friends started calling me CB insted of the lengthy 'Christopher' or the even longer 'Christiopher-Bernard, which is how I used to introduce myself until I got tired of explaining it).
