Pretty wild, the water's taking a while to recede...I wish it were a bit more dialup friendly though.

Thrax, that upset me quite a bit. Thanks for posting it. I'm not being funny when I say that, it really brings it home how horrible that thing was\is. I wish more people could see it and dig deep into their pockets and help the poor souls that had to endure it. How ever little you've got, somebody needs it far more than you do.

Well, there's a few reasons I'm bumping this. One is because that site is updated quite a bit - don't know if anyone realized that. The other is this: there are videos of the tsunami hitting. I don't know if anyone knew this, either, but they're all over BitTorrent. I just found them today. It's not a huge wave, like I (naively, I'm sure) imagined, but more like somebody turned up the dial on the sea level suddenly. Just type in "tsunami" in your favorite Torrent search (TorrentSpy works great). Amazing stuff.
