It seems Microsoft has purchased the rights to Giant's (http://www.giantcompany.com/) spyware detection and removal tool, and are now giving it away for free (http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx) as their own.
I ran it on my machines, and am very pleased with the results. It has found more "infected files" than Spybot S&D and Adaware. It was also able to nuke the spyware installed by Bearshare.
Has anyone in the S-M community tried it yet? Any thoughts?
