Alright guys,

I have a real problem when I try to watch a video that is Xvid encoded. Every 2 seconds or so it stutters for a few frames and then carry's on. It makes watching anything impossible. At first I thought it was the one I was trying to watch, but I got one that was completely different and had the same problem.

I have tried removing it, reinstalling it, trying different versions, trying different codec packs, no joy.

System specs

Athlon XP 2200
Abit KD7-R
ATI Radeon 9800 128mb
512MB Ram
Windows XP

Any ideas?

Yeah, if it's AC3 ya need the MediaFilter AC3 codec.

Sorry guys, unfortunatly still the same.

Must be something to do with media player because I just downloaded a copy of BSplayer and it works fine.

I dont want to give up yet, I want to find out what the problem is with media player. Anything else?

I've got a AC3 codec that works fine with WMP9 (after many other ones stuttered).

I'll have to get it ready.. 1 moment

Nope, video is fine, just stutters.

I'll note that I use the Odio AC3 codec with WMP9 on my XViD rips.

Sorry Thrax, Still the same, but still works fine with BSplayer. Looks like I am going to have to watch them with that.
