You should have named it something offensive.

yeah, me too, Camman; altho I had 3 when I was growing up and couldn't figure out why my allergies were haywire... doh!
Some ideas-->
"Guyute" "Smidgen" "Althea" "Trouble"
I have always wanted to name a pet something offensive, too, but my friend told me way back that dogs and cats are very intuitive and can tell from your body language and your diction that their name is demeaning...It is hard to call your dog "idjit" with the same inflection as "Errol".

Mittens
CoCo Jumbo (hehehe)
FeeFur
Lucky
Tsuki
thats all I could think of for now...I am so medicated :zombie:

Thats funny! ;D
I had two cats named Boobis and Boobie (I had to give them away when my nephew was living with me. He was allergic) Now I have two cats in replacement, one is named Leon cuz he looks like a tiger. The other one, well he's just some doppy, hyper cat. His name is Nemo.

Boobie is a nice name. They look good in pairs too. :D
You should have named it something offensive.
I'm thinking of something starting with... :wtf: no wait, maybe too offencive.... :shakehead Me and my last roomate came up with a great list of names to give a pet to seriously offend guests. It was great. :D
We just named it snoopy cause its so curious
guaranteed you will give it at least 10 nicknames within a year ;)
I'd like to name my dog, "Stay."

Name her Kiko in honor of my poor cat :(
Congrats! She's really sweet looking. Looks exactly like the first cat I ever had (when I was 2 or 3). Her name was "green" ... I named her... Never let a 3 year old name a cat.

That's just too damn cute :D Awww ... ickle kittie
I had a cat when I lived an with ex about 8 years ago. Gismo. She was awesome. If I went out for a night out and she was out prowling like the urban tiger she was sure she was, she'd be waiting for me when I got home at the end of the street :)
Had to give her away to a friend when moved :(
Awww totally cute. 15 years ago I had a gorgeous Himalayan cross that we named Snoopy. Tons of personality and a really fun pet but we had to give it away when we moved :(

i have four cats, they own. the newest one we go in april. he's got a thyroid disorder, so he's a dwarf. we have to give him medicine every day for the rest of his life, but he's only like 7 pounds, and he's always going to look like a kitten basically. I'll upload some shots we took so you can see. His name is Poupon, but we call him Diggie Doo lol. We got him when he was a day old, still had his umbilical cord attached. My wife found him in the parking lot at her job, and took him to an animal rescue shelter, they looked him over and said he looked fine and that we'd have to keep him. They said we'd have to bottle feed him every two hours, and make sure he stays warm. We read all we could about newborn kittens and how to raise them. We also had to use cotton to rub his butt to make him pee and poop because kittens that young don't know how to do it and their mothers lick their butts to stimulate them to do it. How'd you llike that eh?
So anyways, we raise him and take him to the vet and he was fine until he got major constipation, poor guy hadn't pooped in like 4 days. They gave him an enema and thay said it happens, he'll be fine. Two weeks later, he gets constipated again, and no poop, just this gray, cement looking diarreah comes out. Hence why I named him Poupon, cause when he was really young his poop looked yellow like mustard, but now it looked grey, so I was like grey poupon, and poupon was cute. It's only his official name though, we always call him Diggie. We took him to the vet again and this one vet says he's too sick, they gave him three enemas and it's not coming out, we have to put him to sleep. My wife was like hell no, let me talk to another vet, so we get another vet who falls in love with him, but the entier office didn't not believe us that he was like 3 months old at that point, they thought he was much older, but we were like no, he was definitely one ro two days old when we got because it took about 5 more days for his umbilical cord to fall off. So then the new vet says she's going to keep him overnight and run some blood tests on him. Fine, the next day she calls us and says he's got hypothyroid dwarfism. She explains that his thyroid isn't producing anything, and that's why he is so small, that's why he's not growing or putting on weight, that's why he's so constipated all the time. As luck would have it, she was writing a paper on this condition to pass her board exams, so she told us that she's going to have to run blood test every month to monitor his thyroid levels once we get him on medication, but that it would not cost anything because it was research related. We were very happy cause those test cost $250 a pop.
Anyhow, today he is 10 days away from being 9 months old and he's awesome. He grown a lot since he got on meds, and he's the cutest little thing ever. You can't really tell in the pics, but his head is flatter than a normal cat's. His paws are too big for his body size, his tail is too long for his body too. When he sleeps, he puts his ears down, he looks like Yoda with his wide flat head lol. They told us that he might be a little 'Dim' but I don't see it at all. He plays like a kitten, knows when you're in the room, follows you everywhere, and because we bottle fed him, he is the biggest lover, I mean he wants to always be with you, or at least in the same room with you. We just love him to death. The other cat in the pics is Luna, our only female, she loves him, acts like his mom. She'll fight the other males if they attack him, which they sometimes do because little dude isn't fixed yet, so he's been spraying around the house, pisses them off. She basically taught him how to be a cat, I mean he copys her every move. If she lays sideways with her left leg sticking out, he does it too. He'll even lay facing in the same direction as her most of the time. It's really amazing to see it. I think she knows he's a little tiny bit different, so she loves him extra :D
Sorry this is so long, you get me talking about my cats and I can go on and on, I love them so much. And I'll tell you one thing having this "special" kitty has taught me. I never understood how people would love their child as much as they say they do when the kid was born with a disorder or anything that would impair their daily lives. I'm not a parent yet, so I always thougt I would fee angry that my kid would be born retarded or something like that. This kitten has taught me so much about that, I mean when the vet told us that he was a "special needs kittie" as she out it, I felt this surge of love grow in me, it was like I loved him times ten now. I wanted to protect him even more and make sure he had a good life and I was determined to do whatever I had to do to make that happen. Not that I didn't feel that way about him or my other cats, of course I did, but I finally got it, how people with special needs children really meant what they said and that it wasn't just some standard answer. Anyways, enough with the long post, here's the pics.

name it Latoya
seriously though, Hurricane or Stormy or something would def be appropriate for where you live. I'm sure the cat will infict damage to the inside of your house similar to what the canes did to the outside
