Hello,

A few days go I purchased PandaAntivirus software and installed it on my computer. I did not however remove my previous version of Antivirus protection (McaFee). I was prompted to reboot and after doing so my compuet does not reboot.. I disabled my PandaAntivirus through msconfig and removed my previous protection via the add/remove programs. I enabled Panda and my computer still freezes at start up.. What do I do?

If you have XP, try using System Restore, and restore to the point before you installed Panda. Uninstall McAfee and install Panda. Some antiviruses are sometimes a paint to install cause they either screw up the system or leave some stuff behind that can cause conflicts.

Unfortunately this computer has win 98.. I don't know what else to do..

Hmm. IMO 98 generally gets screwed up easier/harder than newer OS (except ME). I would just format and start fresh. The OS probably left something lingering that's messing up the OS.
