hey i was hoping someone could help me,
i was running norton AV up until subscription ran out,so a friend put me on to AGV and when he installed it he un-installed norton,and since that day my computer has had alot of problems,firstly like alot of people on here have said,i cannot enter secure sites with IE,so i got netscape and that fixed that,but i have tried to sytem restore to reverse all this and it opens the system restore page but its completely blank,so i tried to do it from start>run> "config.msc" nothing,it wont even bring up search anymore?, by the way its XP pro, would system recovery disc fix this?,i was hoping there is another way cause my discs are in another state at the moment,any help greatly appreciated ,shanon :confused:
