Im currently using a 8knxp rev 2 gigabyte mobo with a prescott 3ghz
Is there anyway to lower the multiplier to something like 13 or maybe 14? Modding bios or something.

Im hopping to reach 275 fsb using G.skill (Samsung TCCD) F1-3200DSU2-1GBLE

hummm
Would that kind of fsb gives me problems?

Thnx Anyway

Well, without an ES (engineering sample) proc there's no way to lower the multiplier or raise the multiplier on any P4 CPU, and those are pretty hard to find although if you're lucky you will stumble upon them on occasion.

I'm not so certain that your board would live up to a 275FSB even if you could lower the multiplier but I won't swear to it.

I hope this answers your question.

With the default multiplier, TCCD memory doesnt worth it($$).
My p4 3.0E became unstable juz abit over 3.6, no matters what vcore i use.
Currently at 3.6 with default vcore
