Ok realvnc has a couple versions that have encrpytion built into them, that arn't terribly expensive. I only have a server that hits the internet (rest are all intranet), free is good though so is there a free version of vnc that has encrpytion on it?

How about TightVNC, Aranyic? I'm not sure if it has encryption. You may want to check it out, here (http://www.tightvnc.com/) .

I haven't been aware of any VNC with encryption, although I haven't bought anything in that regard either. The solution I've both seen and used is setting up sshd to encrypt the traffic by tunneling it (VNC) through SSH.
