How to limit connections on a router, and spybot has found bargain buddy [Archive]

I ran spybot on my computer and it found bargain buddy and it has run up on start up a couple of times and nothing seems to be working. I have used you guys for helping me before, which was absolutley fabulous and I am hoping you have some advice for me:) As well, I have a wireless routed connected to my computer , a linksys and i was wondering if you have any easy tips for limiting who can connect etc... I find that there are more people than I want connecting to the router. I would appreciate any help :)

after running spybot and adaware, DSO exploit keeps coming up on the scan but it is cleaned up each time... but why does it keep coming back?
OH AND.... how to I totally get rid of internet explorer as my MSN messenger still uses it as the default browser, I have MOZILLA and I use that, but when i click to go somewhere from Messenger IE is what it uses

Your log looks fine, Spybot must have taken care of it. Run Ad Aware as well to be safe.

For your DSO exploit problem, read this. (http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19764)

Your Linksys router has security built into it to encrypt the wireless signal. With encryption enabled, you basically plug a key code into the router, and then you have to have the same code entered into the settings of your wireless network card. If you do not have that code in the network card, the network card cannot access the network. This prevents other people from leeching wireless bacndwidth from you. Refer to your router manual for instructions. If you tell us exactly what model you have, we can assist you further.
