Hey my friend just turned down his computer and everything seemed good... When he turned it back on it was giving constant beeps and not outputting any video or doing anything to show progress. Any ideas will help and i will have to try them out over the next few days. My friends isnt very smart when it comes to computer problems but said it seemed as if everything was working good. He did try takin out the video card and putting everything back in to make sure nothing was loose and still has same prob. He is running 1 stick of 512 3200. Thanks

Also i guess now he says he hears 4-5 beeps...He has lost his manual and the ABIT online doesnt work right now. Any help to what those beeps could be signaling would be appreciated.

Exactly how many beeps and what pattern? (beep, beep, pause, beep, etc.)
Try unplugging the power cord. Then reset the bios and give it another try.

Well he says he turns it on and at first he thought it was a constant like warning beep....now he says 4-5 and that all he gets is the message system is powering down and thats it.

Tell him to identify the beeps from this list and we'll go from there.

I'd say PSU, CPU or RAM but we'll see...

Abit has multiple sites:
http://www.abit.com.tw/ is the Tiawan main site.
This link gets you english on Taiwan-Global Abit site: http://www.abit.com.tw/page/en/index.php?pLANG=english&pEXT=-en
http://www.abitusa.com/ is the US main site
Try both those above. BOTH should not be down, though the US one is often VERY busy.
RAM stick could have worked loose also, and dust or Persian Cat hair in sockets can really do a BAD number on contact effectiveness (Yes, I had one box give beeps like crazy until I removed Persian Cat hair from sockets for RAM AND Video card.).
