Found this surfing around. Would AMD be able to clock this speed? :)

Wow. Watch Intel try to buy his cooling ideas. Dells will suddenly be a lot heavier :D
Pretty crazy stuff over there, I liked how so many people started creating accounts so they could get flamed for asking for proof that the images weren't altered. ;D
FUGGER is an amazing guy when it comes to OC'ing.
So he can post to BIOS at that speed, but nothing else. To me its like taking super-modifed muscle car to the dragstrip, sitting on the line reving the engine...............then going home :wtf: :scratch: Looks good, runs good, cant do sh*t with it!
Call me back when he shows some Mark 5 scores, or a FRPS screenshot with everything on, in Half Life 2 or Doom 3. Then I may be impressed.

He had Super PI running @ 5.9GHz

20 or 21 second Super Pi and some Sandra Benchies! He's appearently still working on it which is why no big time benches have been made yet. But knowing what he can do, he will.
He ain't OC'ing so he can get the best game framerate ever, he's overclocking becuase he enjoys it. Get over it guy...

Not convinced, if after all that all you can do is a benchmark, what good is the PC? Overclocking is great, I have P4 3.0 running at a 10% OC. The point is I can still use the PC. It does everything its supposed to. I can game, do homework, surf the web, FOLD 24/7, etc. My opinion is its still like having a high-end sports car, that you leave in the driveway.

Wow thats nice. He used to be a member of IC awhile back and even folded for us for a bit.
Not convinced, if after all that all you can do is a benchmark, what good is the PC? Overclocking is great, I have P4 3.0 running at a 10% OC. The point is I can still use the PC. It does everything its supposed to. I can game, do homework, surf the web, FOLD 24/7, etc. My opinion is its still like having a high-end sports car, that you leave in the driveway.
What good is a show car if it's never driven? Some people like to design cool looking show quality vehichles, that can't even drive; others make them show quality but do drive. It's worthless to me to make any vehicle that doesn't drive, but they do what they enjoy and many people enjoy it as well. Thus it's not pointless, it's for fun. Who cares that they spent money doing what they enjoyed.

1. Hate "show" cars too. A car is made to be driven, if you want art, go to a museum.
