I have seen a few times where the server glitches and reverts back to a previous state of posts, effectively wiping out some new stuff. That could be the issue?
hmmm pherhaps... oh well.

Chill dude. Like GHoosdum said, it's probably just an error. And if it wasn't, big deal. I've had a thread or two locked... no big deal. It happens for a reason. If you're really bothered, PM a mod and ask (politely) why. Don't need to go off on anyone... :-/

So...is someone going to explain why it was removed?
it was removed because one of the demons from hell said god dammit..... and i dont get the deal since the swaer filter dont even filter it out.. im not gonna bother editing it out since it wasnt that good anyways and im lazy... sooo if you wanna see comic your gonna have pm me and ill gvie u link or i could put it up on my website and u can see it there.

I deleted the thread because it offended somebody. If any post offends somebody, and they ask a mod to delete it, generally it gets deleted. If you remove the offending words and repost the comic, that would be great.
i know u told me i could do that in PM but i dont know... no one liked comic anyways soo no sense going and changing it when its nto gonna be worth while.. but ill put it up on my site if u wanna see it

Oh geez  based on that info, I'm betting I can figure out who "reported" this, guess we know who's posts to report whenever anything "remotely" offensive is posted, damn there's some rampant hypocracy around this place

Both parties have overreacted, IMHO. This is a public forum, people are bound to be offended from time to time. No reason for censorship, escpecially when the offending item was not designed to offend, unlike some of the posts that have followed. But then, flailing against the powers that be won't get you anywhere either.

Listen folks.
First, attacking members is unacceptable and will never be tolerated on this site for a minute. The offending post in this thread was deleted and the member who posted it agreed to not do so again.
Second, the second rule states that we are to try and settle on a use of off-color language that we can agree on. A member asked to reign in the use of a particular phrase because it was offensive and it was done. Whether this is done case-by-case or on the filter level remains to be seen.
As Prime said, our primary concern is not having members offended while not getting too heavy-handed about it. Sometimes its a difficult balance and we appreciate your patience :)
