All I can think about is some part at the end of Fear and Loathing where he wrote about curling up in a hole in the wall and masterbating because thats all life really was. Something like that.

I'd have thought he'd go on and die of liver failure or something. Something that a little gonzo. Something wild. Blowing your brains out, I hate to say, is passe. It's stereotypical. It's been done before. And that's something he never was. There will never be another writer like him.

Man, I gotta get some Flying Dog beer. He was part owner in that brewery. It really is good beer. So here's to the American Dream.
