You're probably looking for some daily T&A.

Our babe thread was gigabytes of data.

It costs a lot to move gigabytes of data all over the place.

It costs a lot in server performance, bandwidth, and money too :(

There are a LOT of places to get those kinds of pictures. My favorite is www.google.com :)

You're a resonable person. I'm sure you understand the simple reason why we got rid of the babe thread. There are a million kabillion babe threads out there.

Now, go ahead and tell us what jerks we are and how could we do this and this-and-that.

Why not just empty it out once a month or so? It still allows fresh stock, comments, and fun without the messy storage. No one can reasonably sort through 100 pages of pics anyway. :)

I dunno. I couldn't really care one way or the other. Gigabytes is a ton of data to be tossing around, and that thread had new pics every other day at least.

The anime babe thread doesn't get nearly the traffic that the "human" babe thread got. It's a traffic/size issue, not a content issue :)

Glasses in the store are "dummies." They have no corrective value to them. Sure, you could buy "reading glasses" which are very weak correction for people who need glasses to read (far-sightedness), but for anything else, you need the lenses to be custom shaped to your prescription. If the gentleman in the story had a very particular prescription (one eye very strong, one eye very weak, or both eyes needing very strong correction) he could not just take a pair off the rack at the local glasses store...they just would not work for him.

Now, a strong magnifying glass...or one of those magnifying work lamps....that could do the trick....
