I found a (home) subwoofer shown here (http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=11191506&m=1&cat=15&scat=18) for $99.

I figure that's probably a good deal for a 200 watts rms subwoofer. What do you guys think?

Ran a search on www.pricegrabber.com on that subwoofer. Cheapest I found it for was $184. So, I'd say good deal. :)

$100 is about as cheap as a decent sub will get... I've got a pair of KLH speakers and they are a great value.

just to brag though, I just got a decent 8" bazooka sub for my car for $15 :P

It was on clearance at my local K's Merchandise. I didn't think this deal would be valid for anyone that didn't live around here :(

If you want one, I could buy it and ship it for you. Still save around $190

No, no... I was just messin' with you. I don't need one. I have a nice one as is. Thanks for the offer, though. :)

What I don't understand is why it is a front-firing, non-ported subwoofer? Usually subwoofers of that size and power are pointed at the floor (But still non-ported).

Anyway, looks like a great steal none-the-less!

The price just went up to $299.99?? Does BestBuy fluctuate their prices that significantly?
