hi had a spare scsi card in my computer so thought i would buy a scsi hardrive just for some extra space, so i got a Quantum Fireball ST6.4s anyway plugged it in, is found straight away in device manager as a drive but it won't find it in "my computer" or anywhere else for that matter, i have tried changing the jumper settings but i'm a bit clueless on these things and don't understand the terminology , someone says it needs "termination" but according to the maxtor website it comes already set with termination, i have tried it without any jumpers but no luck.
its location on device manger is "Bus Number 0, Target ID 5, LUN 0".
i must be missing something really obvious here but as i've been trying to sort it for about 6 hrs i'm close to giving up...
thanks a lot
