HDD transfer

If a hard drive that was once a master and had an OS on and I put it in another PC as a slave will anything happen to it?? I just want to take the files from there and put it on the pc.

Nothing will happen to it, you can just pop it in and start copying files.

Should work just fine if you set it to slave on the 2nd pc. Remember to set it back to master (or cs depending on how it was originally) when you put it back.
