IRQ problem with sound blaster ZS and firewire

when I use the HD on the firewire, the sound starts getting pops and static

all IRQ are on #9 :shakehead: and I can't find away to change them

this is on the sony laptop, all I have is a restore disk with it

any ideas?

also I have only one PMICA slot
