With summer nearby and ati trying to find a way to trump the new sli technology of nvidia we should only expect rumors to start flying.
I'm not sure how true this is but ...24-32 pipes? 3dlabs is doing the 24 pipe thing now in it's $2000 cards. Let's wait and see what happens.

Wasnt the 3dlabs card a professional workstation card or something. I think ive read both news items that you have refered to.

yeah they only make workstation cards ...creative cancelled the game cards that never made it to the store shelves.
