I really messed up. I fell asleep at my desk and dumped almost a whole glass of water all over my keyboard. So I am looking for a new keyboard or combo w/ mouse.

Are you looking for one with any special keys? (media controls/shortcuts)?

I've been happy with my Logitech Elite Keyboard. It's got a built-in scroll wheel, volume control w/ mute, etc, and lots of shortcut buttons.

Didn't see it at Newegg, though...

Are you looking for wired or cordless?

And I sorta dig the illuminated keyboards as I mess around on the computer so much at night.

I did like the scroll and volume controls on my now dead Logitech Internet Navigator. Wired wouldn't be bad but I wouldn't mind wireless if I got one at a good price. My current mouse is a Logitech Dual Optical that has been good to me but a wireless combo w/ a mouse that had at least 1 extra button would be a nice touch. A natural keyboard layout is also a possible consideration as I have wrist problems after an extended time on my puter.

Go For The Logitech Cordless Mx Duo

I second the MX Duo. The batteries in the keyboard last forever and the mouse has a recharge cradle so no battery replacement at all. It's been great for me.

Maybe THIS (http://www.industrial-computer-enclosure.co.uk/waterproof_keyboard/waterproof_keyboard.htm) would be more in order. :D Sorry couldn't help myself

I was looking and do like the MX Duo. Is there anything like that with a natural keyboard and at least a scroll wheel.

Have you tried drying it out? You'd be suprised how much you can do keyboards without killing them.

Take the keyboard apart and let it dry. My mother's cat dumped a glass of water in hers once; after disassembling it, drying it all off and letting it sit out over night, it worked just fine.

I not only dumped water on it but also using this as a reason for the boss let me get a new one.;) That's why I am also willing to get a combo w/ a new wireless mouse. (hint, hint)
