Monitor connected no signal?

I have a sapphire 9600 pro 256mb, i have made sure everything is connected:
monitor power is on,
video card power is on,
and the video card is connected to the monitor.
if it helps any i have a 17" Rosewell lcd

i turn on the monitor and it gives u the message " no input signal" then goes of into idle mode or whatever and goes black. just wondering how i could fix this problem. thanks in advance

yes i did make a new thread so that it would be more open to ideas.

do u get any beeps at all when you boot up the computer?

I think it should have stayed in the other thread. All that info is important to trouble shooting.

k ill continue back in the other post, but i am not getting beeps all i get is the sound it makes right at boot up.
