Eight words with two meanings

1. THINGY (thing-ee) n.

Female...... Any part under a car's hood.
Male..... The strap fastener on a woman's bra.

2. VULNERABLE (vul-ne-ra-bel) adj.

Female.... Fully opening up one's self emotionally to another.
Male.... Playing football without a cup.

3. COMMUNICATION (ko-myoo-ni-kay-shon) n.

Female... The open sharing of thoughts and feelings with one's partner.
Male... Leaving a note before taking off on a fishing trip with the boys.

4. COMMITMENT (ko-mit-ment) n.

Female.... A desire to get married and raise a family.
Male...... Trying not to hit on other women while out with this one.

5. ENTERTAINMENT (en-ter-tayn-ment) n.

Female.... A good movie, concert, play or book.
Male...... Anything that can be done while drinking beer.

6. FLATULENCE (flach-u-lens) n.

Female.... An embarrassing byproduct of indigestion.
Male...... A source of entertainment, self-expression, male bonding.

7 MAKING LOVE (may-king luv) n.

Female...... The greatest expression of intimacy a couple can achieve.
Male.. Call it whatever you want, just as long as we do it.

8. REMOTE CONTROL (ri-moht kon-trohl) n.

Female.... A device for changing from one TV channel to another.
Male... A device for scanning through all 375 channels every 5 minutes.

I like it, Tex. It's alot easier and quicker to read than "Men are from Mars..Women are from Venus." I stopped trying to understand women 10 years ago when I got married and it's futility. I can't understand one specific woman...what chance do I have of understanding them all?

Actualy I got the perfect babe. She is a hot looking blonde, an Oracle DB analyst that lets me go crazy with our home computers, loves hot sports cars, big dogs, and sports.... she played volleyball, basketball and track and was the valedictorian in her high school class. Loves to dance and party all night... She will hunt or fish with me and can talk football with the guys at work better then most of them.

I mean.... I describe her as thinking like a man. Which pisses her off no end but its true. I mean every once in a while she blows out some wild blonde brain fart thing and sounds like a girlie girl but for the most part we just click perfect. We work side by side on lost of jobs and spend all day together.

There are good ones out there ya just gotta be patient and keep looking. I was 35 when I found this one (she was 19)

Sorry Tex,
I was just speaking facetiously. Didn't mean to give you the wrong impression. I have been married to an absolute queen, since 1995. It's one thing to find the perfect woman, but it's an even greater challenge if you are on the military. Not many women could handle 6 month deployments, I found one that does it with applomb. While she isn't a computer guru, her other talents and "ass"ets more than compensate. Having said that, we are both strong-willed, she is latina and I am Cajun. There are days when one of says something strange and the other will tilt their heads in total puzzlement and confusion. I like the fact that men and women are wired differently...variety is the spice of life!

yup, got me one too, ( hot blonde) found her 4 years ago, She's a nurse, ( and I do enjoy nursing), Undestands the folding stuff more than I do, Her son is a PHD in Genetics at UCSB, She also does Scouting stuff with me, One day last January we trained 50 scout leaders in CPR at a campsite with 800 scouts. They are still out there.
