Well, today started like normal. My alarm clock and music starts going off at 6:30, I mumble something like, "Ah crap," to myself, and fall back asleep. Like I said, normal day.
Then my mom comes in, and tells me there's a bomb threat at my high school. Now I'm up like a shot. Apparently they found this message scribbled on the bathroom wall. I guess it said "Columbine Tour" with today's date, the time 9:26, and a gang symbol. Holy friggin' crap. So almost everyone I've talked to isn't going. I almost am, mostly to show that people people these stupid stunts don't scare me. If they scare us, they win, whether or not they actually do something. At the same time, it IS scary as hell. The sad part is that I remember this kind of thing happening a few years ago, too.
So yeah. This is ridiculous. Small-town Sheboygan Falls goes haywire..

Hehe we had someone call in during the day with a threat once. Principal got some heat for letting us back in the same day.
Had two bombthreats a year for both of my years of junior high. We sat outside for a few hours and then went home.
I honestly chuckle at bomb threats now. ****ing n00b maneuver.

I agree. You don't tell people if you're going to do stuff like that, you'd just do it.
So that was another reason I was gonna go... but I don't think I am. One of my friends (who lives across the street from the school) said there's almost no cars there right now, and school would start in 5 minutes. So I'm skipping it.

Yesterday a Senior at Palmer High School up here in alaska was arrested for saying he was going to bring a gun to school. This apparently was his senior prank. He has been arrested and will be charged. ABout 270 students,(60% of the student population) did not show up for school that day.
If you want attention this is not how you go about doing it. Stupid.

We had a bomb threat at my high school once, right after lunch. We all sat at a "safe distance" across the street in the parking lot. Safe distance my ass. At any rate, of course it was fake, but we got to sit outside for almost the rest of the day.
They may win if you don't show up, but I considered any day I didn't have to go to school a win for me too :D
We had bomb threats monthly at my highschool, a 5A school btw(or whatever that labeling is...)
Even at FullSail we had bomb threats at least monthly, though you might not have been there during the bomb threat becuase it's open 24/7. I know that we had to leave the building while I was there probably 5 or more times during my stay.
Just some stupid *******s, and then what happens when the wolf really comes? :shakehead
We had a bomb threat at my college, the funny thing was that it was just 20 min before a huge calculus final....... hmmmmm what a coincidence
at least we got 4 hours extra to study while they brought dogs to check for a bomb
this is new york i believe it was 2000 so they didn't go as nuts as they would today

Nothing happened, obviously. Didn't think so, but still. BUT, a friend of mine came over and we hung out for a bit. Then we get bored, and go decide to go show up at another friend's house down the street. We hung out there for awhile, and while we were in the basement, at the house ACROSS from him, like 3 cop cars and a couple newsvans arrested a kid who was there. Gah! So close, yet so far away (from all the "action") ;D
Anyway, yeah, it was a fun day off of school. Less than half showed up, and nobody really accomplished much of anything. So it's better we decided not to go. And plus, I had my first Chinese food today (which is currently having a brawl with my intestines, but at least it was good going down :))
