This:
http://www.motherdigital.info/images/page_images2/xwoofer1.jpg from the motherdigital site is remarkably similar to:
http://www.short-media.com/images/mm/Reviews/Hardware/Accessories/xwoofer/wear.jpg
which is from us.

Probably has something to do with this (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&q=x-woofer&btnG=Search)... The reviewer needed a picture, he typed "X-woofer" into google, and stole the pictures from the first site he/she saw  :p

It doesn't make it right, but it's a measure of a site's standing in the world when people start ripping you off.
Nice to see that Google has noticed us - again.

I saw that ad well but it never came across that it was stolen. I did think it was pretty close to the colors MM uses for his reviews/articles.

that blue gradient diagonal background is a hallmark of mediaman. We use it for every single product we review.

We are now doing that. Also...I took it up with the admin of Motherdigital and he's pulled the article. He says that he got it from another "techportal" didn't say which one...yeah right.

I didn't steal it, it just followed me home. Can I keep him, Ma?
Why didn't we upload gayporn over the old image and rename the one we were using?

Because they weren't hotlinking it. they just grabbed it and used it.
