I loved the two I owned before but the price was just sticking in my craw to get another.

I have a dual opteron in a Huge Intel sc5100 case with ten hot swap sca scsi drive bays.

So I finally bit the bullet.

What? You think that was a little to much to pay? Or to many drives or ???

You know me I'm cheap.

Always finding the deals Tex :D

I love my PCP&C, they are fantastic PSUs. Althought I certainly paid more than $60, still hurts to look back at that invoice.

That is a monster PSU! 50A on the 3.3V rail

I have always viewed PC Power and Cooling as the best. Since all my gear runs off voltage stabilizers I have not felt the need to run the real high end PSU's and have done well in the last 36 montsh or so.

But with the HUGE drain on this setup on startup I figured WTF... Just get a good one. The case was designed for huge redundant hot swap PSU's.

I bet that PC Power and Cooling PSU I just bought cost twice what I paid at most outlets.

Tex, where does it say on that ebay ad that it is a PC Power and Cooling? It only says Turbo Cool as far as i can see.

I googled for it.

And thats why I got it for $60.

I can see the standard PCP&C label on the side of the psu as well.
