9700 pro or 9800 pro?

Hi all,

I was just looking around Newegg and I was wondering, which is the most bang for the buck? I mean, it seems like the 9800 has heat issues,(maybe)
where the 9700 runs forever. Is the 9800 a much better card or is the performance between the two fairly close.

I'm leaning toward the 9700 cause my 9500 pro has been solid for so long.
right now I'm just looking for personal experiences.

I have had a 9800 pro for about a year and have had no heat issues. On top of that, I don't even have a fan. I use the sapphire passive heatsink with a heatpipe.

It's a pretty big performance difference. I'd go with the 9800 Pro.
