Tuesday I was in my "intro to computers" class, I know very boring, but I have to take it to move onto the other classes. But anyway, I was browsing the net looking at stuff, and my friend beside me started trying to find a background to change on his desktop. And I got an idea to look up some good ol' bsod pics. He didn't know what one was so I told him and all, and looked for some good pics on google.

Found one, changed my background, and left for out break. I came back in, and my friend told the teacher that my computer was messed up. As soon as I come back in, he had this puzzled look on his face and was ctrl-alt-delete'ng his heart out, he was about to shut my computer down when I asked him what he was doing, and showed him it was my background. He felt like such a dumbass, it was soo funny, the class was cracking up.

I had to help my instructor with intro to PC's. She couldn't get a printer spool to clear. But could she program.... left my head spinning. C++ never flowed so good.

Good story. Hilarious.

My Intro class had our instructor telling us there are "eight ways to insert a disk; only one of them is correct" on the first day. My friend and I called it SIFOC 101 - "Sitting In Front Of a Computer 101."

GH, if and when your instructor asks the cause of a problem in class, always always always attribute it to a PEBKAC Error- Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair Error

Unfortunately I can't do that... the class was about a year and a half ago... I took it my Junior year of college, of all times...

I always liked the ID10T errors myself.

When a Intro to Computers teacher can't tell the difference between a modem and a motherboard.... that's a serious red flag. Dang... was that really two years ago? Sheesh... :) Hilarious stuff!

On our Intro day to Uni, they said the machines had 1.4 Gigabit processors.

I felt like getting up and just slapping the lecturer :(

I hate it when people say 256MHz of RAM or 512MHz of RAM. SHUT UP! You don't know what you're talking about so just be quiet!

I hate it when people say "I need more memory" for absolutely everything that is wrong with their computer... or "I need more memory" when they run out of hard disk space... :banghead:

You guys are so lucky. When I was in school they couldn't fit one into a school yet. Oh, Sigh!
