I'm planning on buying a new video card but can't decide what to get. I've read on here that the 6600GT's are only slightly more powerful than 9800 pros. But am wondering if the 6600GT agp would still be more powerful? If any of you have either of these cards could you maybe post your fps's in games?

The 6600GT is faster by a decent margin. It does have better support for newer features (Shader 3.0 and DX 9.0c support), can be easily overclocked, and the ability to run SLI. Here are some numbers I found while looking googling for video card reviews...

3dmark 2001:
9800 -> approx 20 000
6600 -> approx 18 600

3dmark 2003
9800 -> approx 6 000
6600 -> approx 8 500

3dmark 2005
9800 -> approx 2 500
6600 -> approx 3 500

Aquamark
9800 -> approx 40 000
6600 -> approx 56 000

This review should really help your decision as well...
