But whatever.. I'm selling a piano if anyone's interested. Obviously, if you were interested you'd live in the detroit, Michigan area, but there are a few people from around here on this forum, so I figured I'd post a link, SO... if anybody is interested or KNOWS someone who's interested in a 1939 Antique Story & Clark upright piano, you may direct them to this auction on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43377&item=2537183640).. Thanks.

Looks good to me...but:
"The sound quality is excellent, characteristic of all Story and Clark uprights. The tone is deep and rich and has a much better sound than all but the very finest uprights. We purchased this piano exclusively because of the tonal qualities. It sounds great! The soundboard is in pristine condition, lending to the fantastic tone."
How would you know that?;) Do you play?

I had a piano guy tell me all that stuff. :O
But really, it does sound good. All of the innards are six years old. Pristine.

Detroit doesn't have the worst trafic in the US, just the worst drivers.
Couldn't resist, I'm from the area.
Just yankin' your chain.
I have no need for another upright piano. I am shopping for a baby grand now. Daughters and their expensive habits.

Riiiiight. Depends on your definition of 'best'. If you mean dependable, look to Japan, if you mean expensive....look to europe. Keep in mind tho, one of europes best selling cars is the Focus. Its like that for a reason. Also keep in mind the best selling SUV, truck and compact of all time are all produced right here. So again, it begs the question.

Oh... that was a joke I don't get it... must be a midwestern thing :D
McBain... we should really start another car thread, but to digress for a minute, I don't really have a problem with American cars in general... the muscle cars were great, but I like european stuff better because they make things like my 16-year-old Mercedes that weighs 4200lbs, has 238hp, and is still faster to 100MPH than a new Mustang GT :D As for SUVs and stuff... yeew. If you have a use for them, fine, but I've driven my mom's Yukon XL Denali and my grandfather's Range Rover and I think they're both perfectly awful cars...
