Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 no autostart!

I dont know why but the mouse thing wont start automatically again. I think it was when I did the new system restore. I tried reinstalling it but didnt work. If i dont have it started i cant use the forward/back button

Have you tried running the configuration program after it installs it and looking under the options/preferences to have it start automatically? Also try going to Start -> Run then type in msconfig and hit enter. When that loads goto the startup tab and see if you can find where it has the microsoft intellimouse reference.

You should also update your intellimouse software too. It's a free download from the M$ website. :)
