I have a windows xp professional x64 edition cd, and I'm thinking about trying it. I was planning on formating my hd soon anyway. I tried it a while ago, but for some reason alot of my drivers wouldnt work, like for my video card, and for my wireless adapter, so I had a very bad picture, and I couldnt access the internet. I was wondering if there are any updates or anything that are available, because I haven't bothered with x64 since I got the cd which was a few months ago, and any idea why it wouldnt load my drivers. It would always give me some kind of error, or something. (i dont really remember it was a few months back)

The drivers you were trying to use were created for a 32-bit operating system. They will not work in the 64-bit environment. At this time, it's probably a bad idea to go to a 64-bit OS due to those driver restrictions. Companies are working on it. They just aren't all the way there yet.
