View Full Version : ADI AD1980 Sound MAX drivers v5.12.02.3820 (XP64)

i can't seem to get this driver to install, and its exactly what i need for my laptop =\

i have a Compaq Presario R3200 notebook pc with an AMD Athlon 64 bit 3000+ processor, 512 ram, and XP X64 installed.

i've found pretty much every driver i need and successfully installed it, but i've had no such luck yet with this one

any help would be immensely appreciated.

also, in the hardware manager the device is being displayed as an unknown type of multimedia audio controller

additionally, there is a 'base system device' that is undefined and i cannot determine the nature of. it may be my card reader

there is only one other unknown device, but that's my modem, which i dont even really have use for, so that doesnt matter.

any ideas?

Same problem here... I' ve downloaded the soundmax cadenza beta drivers but windows didn' t even accept it :(

It worked with , the new n-force drivers :D

I am having the same problem. Not sure where you where able to find the n-force drivers. Could you post the link?

But it didn't work with the default installation. I had to go the the Device Manager, clicked the sound card, and then I showed the path to the driver. The N-Force drivers extracts its own files in a folder after the install, so all you have to do is to point windows there.

I've d/led the right drivers off this site, but windows refuses to accept them as valid when I try to update the drivers. Anyone got any ideas? And to the previous poster, are you saying that you have the soundmax soundcard but are using nvidia audio drivers?

Hello Guys, I'm looking for thr Driver for Toshiba TECRA Number AudioMax 5.12.01.3890
Does somebody have succes on Installing this sh..
Because it seems very hard, I accidentaly remove this Program from My Laptop, and have no sound now, I Know it's Stupid....so hook up a Bro ..!!
