AIM and my taskbar

I have my taskbar set to auto-hide. Right now whenever someone messages me it brings up the taskbar and blinks orange. I just want it to stay hidden until I click on it.

why on earth..? i guess you could try putting up an away message and checking Hide Windows.

If you want to try gaim theres a plugin to hide the messages on the system tray icon. Just set the settings like this is you decide to use gaim :) .
