Hi all came across this fan on overclockers dont know if anyone has it but short-media rates the standard version quite highly and am considering getting the pro version for my AMD athlon XP2500 as my current coolermaster aero jet 7 is quite poor in cooling...

The reviews all look good, I don't see how it couldn't be an improvement over the Aero 7. Just make sure it will fit your board.

Personally I don't have either one, so I'm running off less info than you are.

I've never heard of that fan, but what about the Thermalright XP-90 or XP-120? Numerous reviews on the web highly rate those options.
