"Offical" games list - 2005

HL2DM/CS, UT2k4, that Battlefield game you people like... what do you all want to play?

While people will be playing what they want for the most part, having a list of games will help people get an idea of what games to install/buy.

Also, I want to know what games will be the most popular, and this determine if I should get a dedicated server set up to handle the load.

Just saying, it'd be nice to have a list of games people want to or expect to play in one place.

Rome: Total War gets my vote. Another RTS would be nice. I prefer Blizzard games to the Command & Conquer series (right click to move is the way to go).

Someone else mentioned Age of Empires II on another list. I'd be willing to buy that and try it at the LAN.

I don't have most of these games, so I will not be playing them unless I somehow end up getting them. Out of that list, I only have UT04. (I really need to get a job.)

LOL! UT04 is the only Commercially Sold Multiplayer Game that I have. That's how pathetic I am. I need a job. I'm gonna' go apply tomorrow, I think, at Radio Shack LOL! ;D It's sad, really. :bawling:

Kay, I'll be installing the following dedicated server software tomorrow:

HL2: DM, along with a bunch of maps and mods.
UT2K4, along with a bunch of maps and mods.
Battlefield DC, if I can find a dedicated server.

Anything else? Of course we'll be playing more than that, but I have a feeling these three games will be the most played by everyone. Anyone who wants to host Descent 2 game or whatever on their own machine can do as they wish.

I don't know what the final count on BF2 vs BF:DC was, but I'd rather play BF2. I do have BF, if that's what gets played.

Well I know me and ocomik bought halo last year for the lan, and nobody ever played it :)
