New Posts Gone

Ok am I the only one that this happens too.....
and it happens all the time...

I go out for my 2 weekend days from work. I dont check here online, when I come back after I get back to work, I know from past posts, I should have at least 9 pages if not more, of new posts. BUT... when I check the new posts quick links it tells me there are 17 new posts you have not read,,, NOT pages... just posts...

now I know that is not right.
does the board reset the posts by itself there fore I miss em, or what.. I have checked all my setting adn everything is fine.

There is only so long that posts will be marked before expiration. Should be longer than two days though :scratch:

This problem will go away when the board is upgraded to vbulletin 3.5 - the new software holds user post info in the DB instead of via cookies.

This has been a problem for years, lord_night. I suffer through this too, trust me.

i've turned into a nazi about my home computer - because if anyone uses my computer to hop on the internet real quick, short-media is my home page and the second the site loads, a cookie says "okay, you visited" and I lose all the posts from the previous period of time. I can't WAIT for the upgrade.

i've turned into a nazi about my home computer -

I have a boot password and the user password now. got tired of my sons and there girlfreinds getting on my system and going to stupid web sites downloading crap......

I built a system for there very own... took them 2 days before it wouldn't boot into winodws again.......
